As you read this, there are 200,000 Nepali women in India's brothels. The trauma that these women have experienced is unimaginable. The average age of girls being trafficked in Nepal is 15 years old. Many of these girls are forced to have sex up to 40 times a day. They are also isolated back in their own villages in western Nepal. View Post

Yoga helps create Freedom from Sex Slavery

Transparency Tv has partnered with Art to Healing in creating this video. In order to support the Womens' Wellness Programs they offer in Nepal and beyond, funds are being raised through their Yoga for Freedom events and other projects, to bring awareness to those of us that can do something to help prevent this situation continuing as well as provide healing and education to the women and girls who have suffered abuse as part of Sex Slavery industry as well as archaic sexism within their own communities. We feel honoured to be a part of the cycle that is providing a solution for this travesty that is still endemic within so many cultures on our planet.

Donations and further info on their projects can be found at Art to Healing
